Who we are
Dusken is operated by ZL Partnership LLC ("we," "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use dusken.ai and the Dusken apps (the "Service").
Adults only
You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the Service. We check age at the door through a privacy-preserving attestation. We do not offer any version of the Service to minors. If we learn a user is under 18, we close the account.
You are talking to AI
Every conversation on Dusken is with an artificial intelligence, not a human. Characters are AI-generated fiction. Replies can be wrong, made up, or unsuitable for any real decision. Dusken is not a medical, legal, financial, or mental-health service and does not replace one.
Accounts and entitlements
The free tier needs no account. Paid tiers are tied to an account you control. What each tier includes is described on the Pricing page and can change; if a change removes something you paid for, you may cancel and request a refund under the Refund Policy. You are responsible for keeping your keys and login safe. Chat history is encrypted with a key only you hold; we cannot read it and cannot recover it if you lose that key.
Acceptable use
You may use the Service for any lawful purpose, including adult fiction between adults. Three lines are absolute, in every tier and every mode:
- No sexual or sexualized content involving minors, in any context, real or fictional.
- No sexual content depicting a real, identifiable person without their consent.
- No content that provides operational instructions for serious harm to people (weapons capable of mass casualties, attacks on people or critical systems, and the like).
You also may not use the Service to break the law, to harass or defraud others, to attack the Service, or to resell access. See the Content & Moderation Policy for how these lines are enforced.
Subscriptions and renewal
Paid plans renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel in one click from Settings, with no call, no chat, and no retention screen. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep access through the end of the period already paid. Prices can change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
Refunds
Yearly plans: full refund if you ask within 30 days of the charge, no reason needed. Monthly plans: cancel any time; no partial-month refunds. Full details in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.
Your content
You own what you write and what your Characters produce for you. You give us only the license needed to run the Service for you (process your prompts, sync your encrypted data). We do not train models on your conversations.
Termination
You may leave at any time; deleting your account deletes what we hold for it. We may suspend or close accounts that cross the acceptable-use lines, commit payment fraud, or attack the Service. We will say why, unless the law prevents it or doing so would help evade enforcement.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
The laws of Texas govern these terms; disputes go to the courts of Texas unless the law where you live gives you a different right. Material changes are posted with an effective date before they apply.
